I am a Research Associate at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where I earned my Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology. My academic background also includes a B.S. and an M.S. in Food Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Turkey. My research specializes in developing sustainable green platform technologies using supercritical carbon dioxide to engineer innovative, stable solid lipid particles for diverse food applications. To date, I have authored nine peer-reviewed publications and received 14 research awards, including the 2026 AOCS Honored Student Award and the Manuchehr Eijadi Award. Beyond my research currently serving as the Student Liaison and Newsletter Editor for the Edible Applications Technology (EAT) Division.
