My research area was to develop a pH-responsive active film materials based on purple corncob and its application in meat freshness monitoring. In this research, we isolated lignin-containing cellulose nanocrystals and extracted pigment from agricultural waste: purple corn cobs, and successfully assessed LCNC-chitosan-PCCE films, which are approved to be well applied in detecting and preserving the freshness of shrimp and pork.
